Over the past week I’ve begin to write Brain Mapping software for Minogi. Now this isn’t a super scientific Brain Mapping process. This is software that is more like an interactive survey. Minogi has come up with a huge number of attributes to label the left and right brain. This will allow you to choose and connect the ones that resonate with you. This is more of a tool to gauge your Creatively Entrepreneurial sensibility. You can see the work in progress for yourself here

OMG Genève

If had to make a logo for Tourism Genève I think I would come up with something like this and superimpose this logo over imagery that has somekind of vertical object going through the middle to make a swiss cross. Just thinking out loud.

Walking to Fabrica

thoughts :: jonobr1

Yesterday the fog was so thick you could barely see what was in front of you. Just beyond the people is Fabrica. I can’t say that my experience so far hasn’t been a bit like this fog. Thick and blinding like a blanket. As my last day comes to an end, I can’t help but think what’s in store for the coming days, months, years.

Is it My Time?

If you didn’t know Fabrica is the Communications Research Center for Benetton, as in United Colors of. As a result the various departments for Fabrica have been ensconced in Benetton’s newest campaign, It’s My Time. I don’t know how much of an impact it’s had in the United States, but man oh man it’s apparently a really big deal here in Italy. This kind of noise coupled with the tabloid rumors of Fabrica doing the branding/identity for one of Italy’s fascist political party’s has made discourse around Mensa, italian equivalent of mess hall, quite interesting and heated. To give you some perspective just in front of my work station at Fabrica is this video playing on a large HD monitor on repeat.

Creativity Industry Panel Discussion

Unrelated to my travels here in Italy, but not unrelated to this blog there is an event in Los Angeles on March 6th (that’s not this upcoming weekend but the following one). If you’re in the Los Angeles Area I highly recommend checking out this free event. I along with other members in the Freelance Republic have been working on the site in collaboration with Studio Number One. This is more than just a launch party though, as it will be an invaluable resource to anyone interested in Creative Entrepreneurship with big wigs from all different industries.
